Rangi Ruru Preschool operates under a full-day licence, and children are enrolled for a minimum of 3 hours, twice a week. The centre does not provide care and education on a casual basis.

Monday to Friday 8.15am - 4.15pm.

The centre does not provide lunches, but children staying over lunch hours bring their own lunch. Morning and afternoon tea is provided. The pre-school is a recipient of the Healthy Hearts Award from the Heart Foundation.

The pre-school is a peanut-free zone and for health and safety reasons we ask that peanuts, including peanut butter are excluded from children’s lunchboxes.

The centre caters for up to 35 children from age 2 to 5 years. Each child has a designated teacher. This teacher is responsible for your child's profile book which provides an important record of the child's pre-school experiences.

The preschool is closed for statutory holidays and fees are not charged. The centre operates through primary school term breaks, with the exception of the December/January break.

The pre-school operates to serve children enrolled on a term by term basis. The current fees are $7.75 (including GST), per hour.

An additional charge of $7.75 (incl GST) per hour (or part thereof) is charged when a child's attendance extends their enrolled hours.

Fees payments are by direct debit arranged through the Rangi Ruru Girls' School Business Manager's office.

Arrangements can be made for direct crediting.
